Atlanta, GA - July 04, 2007 - The InfoWeapons SolidDNS™ appliance was awarded the prestigious IPv6 Ready Phase-2 Gold certification on July 1, 2008 by the International IPv6 Forum. Aside from the gold certification, SolidDNS™ also carries the Silver IPv6 Ready Phase-1 logo which was issued on September 29, 2005.

The Silver and Gold IPv6-ready logos are part of a certifying program by the IPv6 Forum that promotes the deployment of the next-generation Internet Protocol, also known as IPv6. This program is for products implementing IPv6 and aims to define common specifications tests.

The Silver IPv6 Ready logo certifies that SolidDNS™ includes mandatory IPv6 core protocols to interoperate with other IPv6 implementations. The Gold logo, on the other hand, completes the core protocols, certifies that SolidDNS™ passed the tests for functionalities like mobility and remote administration, and is now ready for commercial deployment.
