SolidPBX™ Overview
SolidPBX™ is an advanced Voice over IP (VoIP) private branch exchange (PBX) appliance for the enterprise. The appliance has numerous PBX, security, and hospitality features, and can be managed using flexible user interfaces. SolidPBX™ operates on IPv4, IPv6 and dual-stack networks and has support for an expanding repertoire of VoIP/SIP hardphones, softphones, and other communications hardware.
SolidPBX™ supports numerous networking implementations and services such as SNMP agent, NAT, DHCPv4 and DHCPv6, and NTP service. Its PBX and automation features include call data recording, a phone provisioning mechanism, cellphone integration, Hotdesk and Mobile workforce support, built-in auto-attendant, e-mail integration, instant messaging support, intercom support, conference calls, and address books for domains and extensions. More add-on modules such as Hospitality Edition are being planned. Its hospitality features include support for Universal Hospitality Language Layer (UHLL), Property Management Systems (PMS) integration, and hospitality-specific prompts.
The appliance is designed with numerous security features built-in. These include TLS encryption between devices and PBX, SRTP encryption for voice traffic, secure access to its built-in webserver, and configurable client authentication. SolidPBX™ can even act as its own Certificate Authority (CA), and can set up Server Certificates, import CA certificates, and download Root CA certificates.
SolidPBX™ works with a variety of VoIP/SIP softphones and hardphones, external FXO/FXS gateways. Internal FXO/FXS gateways will be supported in the near future. It is also available on different server platforms and form factors, allowing customers to choose a system that fits their needs and resources.
