SolidDNS™ can be easily integrated into enterprise networks that use Microsoft's Active Directory (AD), providing reliable DNS and DHCP services. The appliance, acting as either a primary or secondary DNS server, may replace or complement an existing DNS server in the network.

Two or more SolidDNS™ appliances can be deployed as primary and secondary servers as well.

SolidDNS™ can enhance the performance of a network using Microsoft AD. The traffic handled by the network's Microsoft Active Directory servers can be significantly reduced since they will no longer be used to provide DNS service to the network.
