Simple Office Deployment: Pure IP
SolidPBX™ can be deployed in an office to allow VoIP devices and the public telephone network to communicate with various devices registered to it. The appliance can also provide DHCP, NTP and TFTP services.
Analog calls to the SolidPBX™ appliance pass through an FXO gateway and are routed to registered devices. These devices include SIP phones registered through public internet or the appliance’s web-based user interface; personal computers registered through the local area network (LAN); and wireless devices registered through SolidPBX™ WiFi access points. Outgoing calls to analog devices pass the FXO gateway as well.
SIP clients, on the other hand, can call each other directly or through the appliance’s Auto-Attendant feature.
The diagram shows a SolidPBX™ appliance with multiple SIP clients and a fax machine registered to it over the IP network. The appliance communicates with the public switched telephone network (PSTN) through the FXO gateway.
