A large enterprise can have several logical and physical networks in a single location (such as its head office). One or more SolidDNS™ appliances can be deployed to each of these networks to cater exclusively to their DNS and DHCP requirements. In this scenario, each deployed appliance will only handle queries and requests from clients within its own assigned network.

This scenario facilitates the segregation and management of data, enhances security and typically provides faster response times for cached DNS data.
