Large enterprises often have offices and facilities in multiple locations, and many of these locations can have one or more networks each. SolidDNS™ appliances can be deployed in each of these locations. For locations that have several networks, SolidDNS™ appliances can also be deployed in each of these networks.

Each deployed appliance can be configured to provide DNS and DHCP service exclusively to its assigned network.

This scenario facilitates the segregation and management of data, enhances security and typically provides faster response times for cached DNS data.

The diagram shows a head office and three separate branch offices in different locations, each with its network. Each network has its own deployed SolidDNS™ server. Each SolidDNS™ appliance is configured to handle queries and requests from clients in its own network only.
