IPv6 Forum BOUNDv6 Program

InfoWeapons, a leading manufacturer of next-generation, fully IPv6-compliant Internet products, supports the BOUNDv6 Program and will be making some of its Solid Suite of products, along with other services, available to all BOUNDv6 Program participants for free. Organizations who wish to take part in the program will have access to the following:
SolidWall™ Sofpliance
SolidWall™ is an easy-to-use dual stack network security and IPv6 tunnel endpoint appliance. It combines the functions of a dual-stack, stateful perimeter and internal network firewall, Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities, VPN endpoint, and IPv6 tunnel connectivity. The appliance is designed to enhance network security while allowing organizations to add IPv6 connectivity even over IPv4 service provider connections, quickly and safely bringing IPv6 into their networks through features such as 6in4, 6rd, IPSec, and SNMPv3 support.
SolidDNS® Sofpliance
SolidDNS® is a robust DNS appliance designed for the next-generation network, but capable of adding IPv6 functionality into legacy IPv4-only networks. It provides reliable and secure DNS service whether deployed in small offices or by service providers in the cutting-edge of technology. It offers support for new IP-based services such as ENUM, VoIP, IPTV and is the first appliance with a graphical interface for DNSSEC and DHCPv6. SolidDNS® carries the IPv6 Ready Phase-2 "Gold" Logo (Logo ID: 02-C-000272), which certifies that the appliance supports core IPv6 protocols, has passed the tests for functionalities such as mobility and remote administration, and is ready for commercial deployment. It is currently in use at several major ISPs and telcos providing carrier grade service.
Hosted Dual Stack DNS on SolidDNS®
As an option for organizations who do not wish to deploy their own DNS servers, InfoWeapons offers dual-stack DNS "organization accounts" hosted on SolidDNS® free of charge (basically a "virtual" DNS appliance with full GUI management). A participating organization can use this account to manage all DNS aspects of the domains or subdomains they have rights to.
SolidDNS® and SolidWall™ Sofpliances are available for download upon successful registration to the BOUNDv6 Program. A Sofpliance is a complete ISO image of each product containing the operating system and all other packages required to run the full application. The Sofpliance can be burned on to a bootable CD and installed on the organization’s preferred hardware platform. Each Sofpliance comes with a one (1) year, full function license free of charge. Alternatively, BOUNDv6 Program participants may also download a VMWare Image of the products available through the program.
All SolidDNS® and SolidWall™ licenses acquired through the BOUNDv6 Program are renewable, at no charge, as long as the organization continues to participate in the program. They are to be used only for BOUNDv6 purposes, and may not be used to provide commercial services for cost unrelated to BOUNDv6. Organizations who wish to deploy multiple Sofpliances need to request for multiple licenses; such requests are subject to review by InfoWeapons. Product and service support included with the use of the Sofpliances are available through e-mail only and on an 'as available' basis.
Organizations who wish to participate in the BOUNDv6 Program can sign up here. If you are a BOUNDv6 Program Participant and wish to make use of InfoWeapons products and/or services, please visit SolidDNS® and SolidWall™ download pages.
Use of the listed products and services is governed by InfoWeapons Fair Use Policy.

About the BOUNDv6 Program
The BOUNDv6 Program, spearheaded by the IPv6 Forum, is an interoperability testing program aimed at increasing user confidence in IPv6 by demonstrating that the Second Internet is available and ready for use. You can think of it as a long-term, ongoing "World IPv6 Day" facility. The worldwide effort was established with the primary objective of "creating a permanent multi-vendor network environment connecting approved laboratories where the community can test IPv6-enabled applications and devices in meaningful test scenarios."
The BOUNDv6 Program has two aspects: (1) the lab-based testing of products to scrutinize specific aspects of IPv6 deployment testing, and (2) an overlay network on which applications may be shared and end-to-end testing can be conducted. The findings generated from participating laboratories, service providers, equipment manufacturers, and other organizations and compiled through the BOUNDv6 Program may be used by the industry in achieving a better understanding of the current state of IPv6 and validating functionality and performance of their products in a global network.
